A simple, secure mounting solution that uses embedded magnets to hold airguns in place for storage, display, or quick access—clean, modular, and designed to fit a range of barrel sizes.
Why It Matters:
Holding pneumatic airguns at workstations for quick, consistent access
Reducing clutter by keeping tools off benches and neatly mounted on vertical surfaces
Preventing accidental drops or hose tangles during assembly and prototyping
Standardizing tool placement across bays for safer, more efficient workflows

Version 1
focused on: 1) the magnetic mounting 2) the varying size of the bar to work on different kinds of airgun nozzles
Version 2’s
The main issue identified was the need to prevent horizontal removal due to dragging.
This is addressed by adding a lip (version L) and a pair of redesigned mount points (version U and V)
Final Product
Version V
Version V was selected for its visual appeal as well as functionality. The design was improved upon by increasing the hook height, and then filletted for aesthetics
The design of the part allowed for 3D printing production without the need of much support in the desired orientation. This allows for the part to be deployed rapidly into the shop
